Had a wonderful stay at the GW Univ Inn. The staff were more than cordial, kept our car in valet parking for the entire day even though we had already checked out in the am, gave us numerous suggestions and directions and were all over fantastic. The rooms were clean, large.... and we got chocolates! Loved the entire experience and would definitely stay there again.

This hotel was great. It did not have the chocolates on the pillows as promised @ night, nor the robes, but the staff did more than make up for that. They know the city and give the best directions. Even when asked for the simple things close to them, they knew where it was. Will stay again when in town.

The Inn suits me because I prefer a sense of getting away from traffic and busy-ness when I'm done with meetings. At the same time, major shopping and dining are within walking distance, and with the Metro station so close the whole region is quickly and easily accessible. My room was excellent, nice amenities, Stacie at the front desk is very helpful.

11/15/2006Staff was helpful; gave us a room upgrade. restaurant is pricey with limited upscale menu. breakfast is extremely limited. immaculate rooms and linens.
