The room in the tower was fine. Some hallway noice but not excessive. I stayed 7 nights. Wi-fi an additional charge, faded in and out, connecting took quite a few minutes on a couple of occassions. Parking was easy. The 20 minute wait for an elevator to go up because of the crowds on Saturday at 6 pm and 5 -10 minutes at 11 pm was frustrating.

I had stayed at Circus Circus two weeks prior to returning on the 28th of January, and it had been pleasant with no major complaints. However, upon returning I was told there would be an additional $* deposit on top of a $* deposit(which I was already aware of because of my prior stay)I informed the lady checking me that the $* was fine but I did not want them to hold an additional $*, the first reason being they had not the time before and if I had known it would be so much I would have booked a room at The Sand's Regency where there is no deposit or Peppermill where the rooms are worth a large deposit. Not to mention the Circus Circus web-site states they have no extra hotel fees, which obviously is not the case. She then proceeded to inform me that it was because I had give a local address and that they required a credit card that my debit card would not be accepted. I very irritatedly informed her that the address and debit card I was giving were the same as they were on my prior visit and the assisstant manager who had checked me in at that time had accepted both without any questions or extra charges. We were also kept up at night do to noise from the elevator. In the end I was not charged any deposit and WILL NOT return to Circus Circus.

Let me just start by saying Reno is a great bargain during these tough times. We arrived after skiing all day at Homewood. My friend and myself were ready for a night of gambling and drinking. That's exactly what we ended up doing. The rooms at Circus Circus are very clean and easy to get too. Just like Las Vegas one spends little time in the room. I enjoyed the high water pressure in the shower and all that the room had to offer. The Casino at Circus Circus is older but has always paid better then the others. Overall if your just looking for a great deal don't consider anything else. Last thing make sure you try the best Italian restaurant on the west coast. Its inside El Dorado its called La Strada.

We had a pleasant stay at Circus Circus Reno. The room is spacious bedroom and bathroom and clean. We booked 2 rooms and one of the room had smoking smell although they are supposed to be non-smoking. You can ask for changing to other room if you get smoking smell in the room. But in ski season, this is best rate that we can find in Tahoe area. I recommend sky tower if you are family traveler to avoid casino. The hotel is connected to Silver Legacy and El Dorado. So, you can experience 2 other hotels' amenities as well without going out in cold weather. We can come back if it still has a room rate under $* :) They have arcade area that has free circus occasionally.
