This hotel was in the best location in D.C.!!! It is less than a 10 minute walk from China Town; about a 15-20 minute walk to the Smithsonian's as well as to the White House and all of the monuments/memorials. There are tons of restaurants within walking distance. The Metro is located inside of the hotel which was EXTREMELY convenient for traveling to sites (such as Arlington Cemetery) that were not within walking distance. We took a night tour and the tour did pick up and drop off at the hotel. The concierge was great at suggesting places to eat and even set up out night tour for us. They say check-in is at 3:00 pm but we walked right up to the desk at about 1:00 pm and were able to check-in right away. They have kiosks all over the lobby for printing airline tickets at a reasonable price of nothing...super convenient! The amenities in the whole hotel were extremely modern. Overall, would stay at Grand Hyatt D.C. in a heart beat!...have been suggesting the hotel to everyone I know since I returned back home.

I've stayed at the Grand Hyatt a few times, and it always gets better. The Grand Hyatt is the most you will get for your money while visiting DC. It's just above the metro center, so it is beyond convient. It's also in walking distance from chinatown a location that is a prime spot for everything from food to shopping. The customer service was excellent, check in and check out was easy. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The spa, pool, gym area is exceptional. I love the Grand Hyatt and I would recommend it for any trip whether it be business or pleasure.
