The Grand Hyatt is a superb hotel just steps from the Verizon Center, Chinatown and some of D.C.'s hottest restaurants and attractions. The staff provided a warm welcome upon arrival and our room was impeccible. We dined at Cure Bistro + Bar, which is located inside the hotel, and both the food and service were phenomenal. I have stayed at many hotels in the D.C. area, but the Grand Hyatt is by far one of the best, and moderately priced for all that it offers.

In decent walking distance from everything, but if you're feeling lazy, there is a Metro stop in the basement. Staff was friendly. Accomodated my request for one king size bed instead of two full sized beds. Room was clean and comfortable, although mine was a bit of a walk from the elevator. They charge for internet and printing in business center which I didn't like (free if printing boarding pass).

We abosutely loved this hotel. The convenience of the coffe shop, deli, sports bar & Bistro right in the hotel was great. The downtown location made sightseeing very easy. The atmosphere in the hotel was very tranquil.
