    First night was a disaster, the gave me a double bed when in fact i reserved for a king bed and the room stinks, so i asked front desk to change it they couldnt accomodate me coz they are fully booked, luckily the gave me another room the next day and it was much better than the room i had the fist night.

    If you like to walk, this is a perfect location for you. Just blocks from the mall and all of the sites. If you don't like to walk or want to enjoy the club scene the Metro Center station is attached to the building and the redline is just steps away. Anything in a cab is less than $10. $15 for Arlington and Alexandria. China town and all the shops are just a couple blocks away. Room was clean, service was very nice. Everything in the hotel is expensive because corner stores are nowhere to be seen. CVS is a few blocks away. Bring your own water and store it in the fridge it's $2.99 for smaller ones and $5.99 for the larger ones downstairs :/ just to give you an idea. The buffet was kind-of stale at 10:30. I recommend going earlier or getting room-service...prices are comparable. The rooms facing the inside have permanent daylight, but we didn't want to get stuck on the outside next to all of the construction noise. They are building 3-5 buildings right across the street. But we managed ok.

    The price was very good for Washington, but you get what you pay for. Parking was very expensive, very small and congested area for your car while checking into the hotel. The rooms were clean but not spotless, the hallways were extremely dirty - they were not cleaned the two days that we spent at the hotel. On the plus side, all of the staff that we interacted with were helpful and friendly.

    Pros- clean, walking distance to white house. amazing breakfast buffett!!!! cons- you pay for parking & internet.
