The bright spot of this hotel is the Manhattan location just down the block from Rockefellar Center & Radio City Music Hall. It all ends there! The room was fair at best. Baseboards were filthy & the wallpaper was peeling and/or damaged in spots. The room was very well worn. The bathroom was atrocious! Peeling ceiling, bugs in the lights, hair (multiple strands) on the toilet, rusty drain in the shower & the door was cheap, dirty, & in bad need of a paint job. And this room was on the upgraded executive level! I would hate to see what you got sleeping with the commoners! Certainly not Manahattan level of accommodations. The front desk staff was rude & the room wasn't ready when we arrived for our 3:00 check in. Maybe this accounts for the rash cleaning job. The bell staff was completely overwhelmed & unprepared. They were hosting a conference at this hotel & there were literally hundreds of people standing around waiting on bell hops to carry luggage & the hotel had 2 on staff!!! I asked if I could use one of their carts to take our own, the reply I received was "no, the bell staff would be happy to get mine...but I had to wait my turn! We ended up leaving ours in our car until later in the day when they could get to it. Oh, & the valet isn't a real valet as you have to drive your car to them! Once in the garage, they will park it for you!!! Really??? I thought the point of the valet was to park for you...after all you have pay $51/night for this service!! I will say that the valet staff was very polite & most helpful when we had to retreive our luggage later!! Also, the concierge service was very helpful & nearly polite. All in all I would not stay here again!

My sister and I surprised my mother for Christmas with a trip to NYC. We wanted a hotel within walking distance of time square. The hotel was perfect for location. We had a great trip & would recommend doing a tour! So glad we did! Also, go see Wicked on broadway, even my dad enjoyed it and he is not a play type of guy!

Great location -- just a few blocks from the theater district, Central Park, awesome shopping, museums and subway. Great breakfast buffet. Comfortable, clean, nice-sized room with two queen beds. Recently remodeled it seems, with no "old hotel" smell. Incredibly fast room service. Friendly staff. A little expensive (this is New York, after all) but worth it for all of the above. My new go-to hotel for NYC.

I actually upgraded and got a lousy suite compared to the others on my floor. Breakfast was free but NOT much in choices. I have stayed at several hiltons over the years and I am NOT impressed with them or their service. Stayed there because of a meeting otherwise may have gone somewhere else. NO concierge to help set up dining, services, etc; not like the ritz on club level floors.
