I stayed here for five nights at a national conference, so I got to know the place pretty well. I was "upgraded" when I checked in, which actually meant I got a handicapped room. This was okay, except the disabled accommodations mean no bathtub and a shower that runs into the middle of the bathroom (there's a drain in the middle of the floor, but having to mop up the water every time you showered got annoying). I ended up mostly showering in the spacious and well-stocked locker room of the fitness center (which is an add-on charge, BTW). Also, the coffee maker did not work (though it was replaced as soon as I reported it), nor did one side of the electrically operated sleep curtain, which had to be pulled manually. The bed was comfortable, though, and I slept well every night. The midtown location is ideal--a few blocks' walk to such spots as Rockefeller Center, Central Park and Broadway theaters.
