On-line deal made this one-third the cost of neighboring hotels. I was only looking for a bed and it was comfortable...breakfast acceptable, but not huge variety...tv reception not great on some channels...parking was the worst part @$15 per night. That still is $3 less than the deluxe hotel's parking garage 150 feet away. If you are on a budget, go for it.

It was walking distance to everything and the price was good but there were a few negatives. First the room smelled like it had been on fire before, then we had to call security because kids were running through halls knocking on doors at 1 am. Also if you are a tall guy like myself you will hate the toilets, they come to my ankles. Also why do you have to pay to park at hotel you are staying at.

The hotel is a bit "tired". In need of an upgrade/remodel for sure. Everything was in working order,and clean enough , just a bit old and worn. The price was great, and it served my needs as an exhibitor at a Convention/show at the GWCC. Walking distance in good weather to the GWCC, Aquarium, etc. And was close to the free shuttle we were provided for the show. Continental Breakfast was adequate- would like to have seen some yogurt for a bit healthier breakfast, but there was oatmeal, cereal, toast , fruit and pastries. Soundproofing would be a welcome upgrade, street and hallway noises were heard very loudly through the sliders and hallway doors.

This hotel was a great location for a weekend graduation we attended in Atlanta. Walking distance from Phillips Arena and nice restaurants. Room was clean, but we couldn't get wi-fi or HBO in the room, and the second day of our stay our bathroom was cleaned but our bed was never made even though there wasn't anything on it. Breakfast was poor---stale doughnuts and some cereal and biscuits and gravy. No fruit, eggs, or yogurt. We opted not to eat there the second day. Coffee in the lobby was nice. My husband went down to the lobby to use the wi-fi we couldn't get in the room, and said the staff was chatting at the desk in a most unprofessional way and using a lot of inappropriate language. It was adequate for our needs for the weekend, but wouldn't recommend it for a special occasion.

It's not the best hotel, but you don't pay the premium either. The hotel is in need of a renovation. The decor and furniture is old as is the television. Our room suffered from some strange design choices, such as the light switches for the bathroom being outside the bathroom by the door. The double room was marked as Queen on my receipt, but it was clearly two full beds. It is located within walking distance of both downtown and Centennial Park, so that was nice. Overall, I think next time I'll pay a couple extra bucks and stay someplace right on Peachtree.
