The location is great, the hotel is located in downtown and close to a metro station. The staff was friendly and there was practically no noise from other guests. Overall, this was a great stay, though the cleaning lady was a bit sloppy as she left her own candy paper on the floor.

Edwin started our stay off with a smile and help getting tickets to 9/11 Memorial in the first 5 minutes of check in. He suggested where to go eat and a reminder of all of the free stuff included with our stay (computer access, wifi, breakfast). I really felt like the most important customer of the day. The room was chic and a nice size. The bathroom could use some attention because it is falling apart but the shower was hot and great water pressure, so I really won't complain. Within walking distance to everywhere in the financial district. Wish I had booked the whole trip at Eurostars.

We spent our anniversary in this boutique hotel in the financial district and were very happy with both the greeting we received as well as the room, which was large and clean. We love to walk when we go to New York and the location put us within striking distance of both the east and west side of lower Manhattan as well as the Brooklyn Bridge. The only criticism I could offer would be adding a memory foam mattress topper to the very firm beds.

1) no cover on blanket and when I asked for one try begrudgingly sent one up 2) windows were moldy and muddy?! 3) tv was temperamental 4) door key was temperamental 5) staff lazy and creepy .. We asked for 1 thing in 4 days and they refused to bring us milk saying it's in the foyer and I could just come get it as it would take him 15 mins 6) air con loud and too cold.. No control from room 7) bed and pillows felt like a stone slab 8) no safe 9) hotel next door too a waste service which was loud and gross 10) shower was too strong and over the bath This place was terrible from the first moment we arrived .. We had no Greeting on arrival and very bad service .. All round a morbid experience! I felt like this was a waste of money and I hated being there
