My husband and I traveled to Miami from Savannah to see a Heat game. We weren't sure what to expect from a boutique hotel because we had never stayed in one before. Our room was small and did not have all the luxurious qualities of a trendy hotel. HOWEVER, we both agree it was probably the most interesting hotel we've ever stayed in. The hotel is a historical building and they have done a wonderful job keeping the charm and ambiance. (Merv Griffin used to own the hotel). The outdoor areas were quaint and beautiful. The hotel featured interesting decor and amenities. Very unique. The old elevator was especially fun for us! Our room was small but very in keeping with the time period. It had beautiful artwork and felt very spa like with its decor. We absolutely loved it. It felt like we got to enjoy a little piece of history! Ended up being one of the best vacations we have had!

Close to the beach ,restaurants and shops, but not directly on the busy and loud Ocean Drive, the Blue Moon Hotel was the best place for me. The room, staff and breakfast bar were great. The towel service provided by the hotel was highly appreciated. I also liked the fact that it is not a huge place with hundreds of rooms. The atmoshere was casual and homelike. I really enjoyed my stay!

This hotel was definitely worth the price. It was two blocks away from the beach and most local attractions. The hotel room is a bit..snug but chances are you won't be there very often anyway. The heated pool at the hotel is also a nice touch. Don't forget to ask for your midday snack and towel! I would bring my own beach towel given that towel service really depends on how frequently they get to wash the used ones.

We should up earlier than planned,so they looked for an early room got our number to call us while we went to lunch. A half hour later the cell was ringing saying a room was ready. Before the room was ready, we were offered a changing room to go to the beach and wait. They offered towels, chairs . The room was cleaned and ready every day. They where extremely patience when dispite me being a grown adult I could not work the remote, but a new remote was brough up and the clerk helped. All within a few minutes. I would highly recommed this hotel to anyone going to Miami Beach.
