I loved that it was so close to the beach and ocean drive attractions. The hotel was boutique and charming, the staff was very nice and helpful. I would not say it is a 4 star hotel, based on the very small pool and pool area or the rooms. It was good enough for a long weekend trip.

I was surprised by how happy I was with this hotel. Not only was our room very clean, it seemed brand new! Our room was large, spotless and the bed was super comfortable! The only complaint I do have is my boyfriend complained of a sinus infection because of poorly cleaned vents. I was unaffected, but that bothered him. The continental breakfast was not bad. The pool wasn't that great - I didnt even bother going in. However, it was a 1-2 minute walk to the beach so it was perfectly located and within walking distance to shopping, bars, clubs, restaurants, Ocean Drive and anything else you needed to be. I highly recommend this hotel. I stayed at 2 other "art deco" South Beach hotels within the last 2 years and was unsatisfied so I did not have high hopes for Blue Moon but I was very pleasantly surprised. :)

The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The rooms are a little small but I was already expecting this from the reviews I had read. We had to stitch our room (the people in the room next to us were partying all night long and the wall seemed paper thin) and noticed that different rooms had different amenities. It was nice that the hotel provided towels and chairs for the beach and Breakfast and snacks throughout the day were great to have.

Great location, great service and decent room. Call ahead for valet, it takes at least twenty minutes to retrieve your car for some reason. Small leak in room when it rained but it did not effect us at all. We would definately go again.
