  This was a good hotel to stay in. It's in a nice area Coconut Grove with lots of shops and dining nearby. The room was comfortable, and the housekeeping staff is meticulous when they clean I even came back one day to see my clothes neatly folded. The bathroom was really nice, had a TV in there, a nice deep bathtub and wasn't cramped. The rooftop pool was great, and the bar staff was very friendly. Our only issues were the extremely spotty internet connection- we tried both the wireless and ethernet and neither worked well at all and I needed to stay connected for work and school. And the hot tub on the balcony of our room had rust stains in it- we were really disappointed by that as part of the reason we got that room was for the hot tub but didn't want to use it after we saw that. Otherwise, it was a good hotel, friendly staff and we would stay there again.

  I had a wonderful experience while staying at the Mayfair. I could not find any fault with the property and the staff was efficient and helpful. The room was spacious, light, well-equipped and lovely! The beds were very comfprtable. I stayed during the week when the club wasn't open so there was no noise factor as mentioned in some reviews. The location was great for walking, shopping, eating and for driving to University of Miami. The bar was cozy and the staff there very nice and service oriented. The rooftop bar was lovely, but didn't stay open after dark, so couldn't enjoy the city lights but the pool was quite nice and we enjoyed the service there as well. As a frequent traveler to many hotels in many cities, I'd choose this hotel anytime. The only improvement would be available coffee in the morning without going to the restaurant or across the street.

  When we got to the hotel it was lovely especially valet parking. The sound of rushing water and the professionalism of the staff was wonderful. We opened the door to the room it was fresh and very clean. Bed linen was crisp and the furniture was from a magazine. At night we slept like babies, it was so quiet even though cocowalk was alive and well across the street. We were convienient to all the sight seeing we wanted to do. We have recruited some our friends for the next trip and we would definitely stay here again. Oh, by the way the rooftop bar and pool was excellent for swimming, drinking and hanging out. Love this hotel would live here if I could. Refereshed and Relaxed In Atlanta, Ga.

  This is a beautiful hotel. Check in was quick and easy. The hotel is just as it appears in the pictures and the bathroom even has a tv. The rooms are fairly modern and spacious and the Japanese style hot tub on the patio is wonderful... however, for $30.00, the housekeeper brings in two towels and two small bottles of shower gel, just like the ones provided in the bathroom, pulls back the screen and then turns on the water. If you are very particular...you won't like because you don't see evidence of cleaning. I was prepared and cleaned with clorox before they came up! Other than that, we had a lovely stay. The rooftop pool is very nice, along with the cabanas and sun bathing areas. Will definately visit here again.

  The hotel itself is beautiful, the pictures really don't do it justice. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, room service and the food were terrific. But....I don't think there was any insulation used when this hotel was built, it was very, very noisy. We could hear everything in all of the surrounding rooms and down the corridor, it sounded like people were moving furniture all night. I went back to the room to take a nap during the day and even though we were one floor away from the roof top pool and our room was back in a secluded corner I could hear the thumping techno music coming from the pool area. I won't stay there again just because I didn't get any sleep, I left feeling exhausted. If you can sleep through anything than I highly recommend the hotel because it is beautiful and the service was outstanding.
