The location was perfect. Staff was very friendly, helpful and well informed. the rooms were small but clean- Valet parking wa not as slow as others have said in fact a couple of times i didn't have time to finish getting ready. We had to pay for our beach chairs (bummer) Construction n kitchen noise was a little bothersome but I didn't go there to stay in the room. Overall I liked it. I would use them again.

Very nice little hotel, polite staff and clean. If you're looking for fancy smancy this is not the place, but if you want easy access to the beach and south beach nightlife the Avalon is the way to go."

The Avalon is in a great location, right across from the beach and next to many resturants/bars. staff was helpful, easy check-in and out.rooms were small but bed was comfortable. planning on stay here again. my friends and i had a nice time

My bf and I stayed here for a long weekend in Mar and mainly chose it for local and price. Its not the best place on SoBe but come on - for the price its worth it. Rooms were clean and its across from beach.

Room was comfortable and clean. if a bit small. (All art-deco South Beach hotels have smallish rooms) Great location. Restaurants close by and beach right across the street. Very good and varried Continental Breakfast. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Would stay here again.
