I stayed here for my birthday weekend during Ultra Festival. Check in was difficult bc the rooms aren't available til 3 and they don't call you, you have to call them every hour. We get to the room and it was nice! Really comfy beds and pretty nice bathrooms. Nothing special though! They also have A Fish Called Avalon restaurant which is really nice and a free breakfast that you wont wake up for lol... The location is at 7th and Ocean and it's RIGHT across the street from the South Beach Action!! I only recommend this hotels for friends and solo. Not couples unless they are young couples.

It was disappointing when the hotel room was nothing like the picture. Our view was an alley and the wall of the next building. There were workers making noise throughout the day in the alley. The room was so cluttered with furniture it was difficult to move around. The customer service was of poor quality. We asked for an extra blanket and it was never brought to us. Two days in a row we had to ask for additional towels because they would never leave enough for four people. Then we had to wait a long time for the towels to be delivered. A couple of times we had to stand at the front desk and wait for hotel staff to assist us because there was no one at the desk. I would not recommend the Avalon Hotel to any of my friends/family.

The location was amazing. Food was good, staff was nice. Bar was pleasant as well. Walking distance from many of the stores on the strip. Looking from our window we were able to see the car shows, was a bit noisy at night time. But perfect for young people. I stayed with my boyfriend for 4 nights during bike week.
