This was our second trip to Key West, and our choice in hotels could not have been better. The location of the Ocean Key Resort is perfect. The Sunset Pier is part of the Ocean Key Resort and is the the best place to enjoy a Key West sunset. The drinks, food, and service at the pier and the hotel were always excellent. Our room overlooked the pool and Mallory Square which made you feel like you were in the middle of all the fun while in your room. Our room also had an excellent view of the ocean and Sunset Key which was really fun watching all the boats come and go. The staff at the hotel were very personable, and did everything possible to make our stay pleasurable. We took one of the evening sailboat cruises, and all we had to do was walk downstairs and straight onto the boat. Our room was spacious, and was furnished vey nicely. We also had a wonderful time at the pool having drinks and meeting people. You would not be disappointed in choosing this hotel.

This is an excellent place to stay, primarily for their attention to detail. The hotel is very nice, the food is good, but the staff and the service level they provide are what make this place OUTSTANDING! We spent the majority of our time during the day by the pool - they bring you frozen towels about 1:00 to cool off, and then each afternoon we had fresh fruit. The bar and food service by the pool was just terrific. Towels were meticulously laid out each morning by the staff, so that you didn't have to go searching. And the lounge chairs were nice, cushioned chairs -- not those plastic ones that make you SO uncomfortable after an hour. And despite the fact that you are in the middle of downtown Duval Street and Mallory Square, you still feel like you have gotten away from it all. We will definitely go back!

THIS IS HOW HOTELS SHOULD BE RUN. EXCELLENT, ATTENTATIVE STAFF. BEAUTIFUL ROOM WITH VIEW OF MALLORY SQUARE, CRUISE SHIPS, OCEAN AND SUNSET.GOOD BEACH BAR/SUNSET VIEW WITH KILLER SINGER. EASY WALK TO DOZENS OF GOOD EATERIES- HOGS BREATH SALOON 2 BLOCKS AWAY. MOST AFORDABLE FOOD IN AREA. MOST DINNERS COULD BE SHARED BY COUPLE WITH EXTRA SALAD OR APPETIZER.WILL RETURN ASAP
