No metro service in the immediate area , but not too far a walk to sights. Limited night time restraunt choice and I guess some rooms have a view, but mine was looking at the AC and offices 25yards away.

This is a slightly older hotel that is a good value for the area. Clean and well kept with a helpful staff. Keep in mind that it's a bit of a walk to get to the mall and the metro.

I found the staff at this hotel very helpful and friendly. We were surprised to find ourselves in a room with a balcony overlooking the pool area. We were just a couple blocks from the subway entrance which allowed us to travel the city. The breakfast we had at the hotel restaurant was reasonably priced and perfectly prepared. Everything was very clean - from the bathroom to the pool - sparkling. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Washington, DC.

I stay here on both business and family trips to DC. On one occasion, I had booked a single room and received a "living room" portion of a suite with a fold-out couch that was already out and made up with sheets and blankets - was not acceptable - they immediately moved me to a better room and apologized for the inconvenience. I was just really surprised to see that done at all - there was actually someone else in the "bedroom" side of the suite (although there was a separate hall door to each room) and not much soundproofing between the two rooms. I won't mention what sounds I heard.......other than that, I have stayed here many times and I will stay again. One incident is not indicative of how it really is!
