Great facility
02/08/2011This hotel has been well maintained, has a friendly and helpful staff, and is conveniently located. the outdoor pool is beautiful and does indeed create a resort atmosphere.

02/08/2011Most places in dc is expensive, and washington plaza is a good deal. the bed is comfortable. the only problem is nothing fun closed.

The hotel staff helped me to plan my visit around the city. Explained what I should see and when. They were absolutely correct when they said to visit the monuments at night; a totally new perspective. They also helped us get a tour of Arlington. Again they were correct, MORE than a walk! I have a medical problem that was addressed by the entire hotel. The hotel restaurant cooked foods expecially for me and delivered them to our room. Just above and beyond. I would definitely stay here again, No, let me restate that...When I come to Washington, I will only stay at the Plaza Hotel!

I booked this hotel for a conference I was attending in Washington based on past internet reviews and photos. I was not aware that there was a newly renovated part and I non-renovated part of the hotel. Needless to say, I ended up in the non-renovated wing and was a tad disappointed. The room was rundown and the noise from the street was pretty loud. However, it was reasonable for the money and the location.
