The Hilton Miami Downtown is a very nice hotel. The price was a good deal for the area. The room was beautiful and very clean. Comfortable bed and a seating area with nice city views. Rooms with the harbor views were not available when I checked in. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool and lobby area are enjoyable. There is a Burger King, a Publix, and a Chekers across the street. Location is excellent. Great hotel for before or after cruises. I went in Carnival Liberty. It is close to shopping, Bay Side, Port of Miami, and public transportation. The Bus and Metro mover are one block away. The Metro mover is free, and it takes you around the Miami downtown. I took the Metro mover to go to Bay Side, where you find restaurants, stores, music and fun. Tips, from the Miami airport you can take the Metro rail to Goverment Center, then transfer to Metro mover Omni loop, get off at the Omni station and walk a block to the hotel. Also, If going straight to the Port of Miami, then get off at the Freedom Tower Station get a taxi from there or walk across the bridge to the Port where the cruise ships are located. I hope you find this helpfull. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in downtown Miami. I would stay here again.

  • Everyone was very friendly.

The hotel room was nothing special and was not worth the money paid. The sheets had stains on them and the door to the hotel room was broke. However the wait staff was quick on their toes and very polite. I will not stay at this hotel again but, I will be going back to Miami.
