Dropped into discover San Diego and was looking for something that was not going to break the bank. This place was perfect. 2 min taxi ride to the nightlife while still secluded from all the activity where you get a great nights sleep. Relax in the jacuzzi or pool on the 3 floor or in or get a cocktail in the grand lounge! Make sure you valet park while your there less expensive and your vehicle will be waiting when your ready to hit the streets..

Tips: this hotel is very short walking distance from the rail transit system, which is convenient for getting around without dealing with parking. The parking lot on the west side of the hotel is directly across the street and at the time offered a good deal if you arrived late afternoon/early evening and leave the next morning (IE perfect for day trips to the zoo/theme parks/etc). Seemed to be a nice location, with a outdoor pool a number of floors up.
