The best feature was location, convienent walking during the day to the areas we were interested in. The room was fine, but the restaurant was so-so. The desk staff was adequate but not exceptional. Limited assistance in providing information. This was a January visit, so the total service may be much better during other periods.

The Wyndham Riverfront is an excellent place to stay while visiting the Crescent City. It is a three to four minute walk to the Convention Center, five minute walk to the Casino, and fifteen to twenty minute walk to the heart of the French Quarter. It is conveniently located in the Warehouse District near many of the city's finest restaurants. Mulates, Emerils, La Boca, RioMar, and other fine restaurants are an easy five minute walk. The front desk was always friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. The restaurant and bar area were very nice and breakfast was tasty. For it's proximity to the convention center and all downtown attractions, it's cleanliness and friendly staff, I give the Wyndham an excellent rating.

Perfect location for the convention center and walking distance to shopping, Harrah's Casino and Bourbon Street! The staff couldn't have been nicer. The Doorman opened the door and said hello with a smile every time we came to it which was about 40 times in 4 days! The restaurant was nice but expensive. $*++ for breakfast for 2. Food was good. The rooms were fine. The bathroom was looking a liltte worn and dated. Probably in need of an update in the future. The beds were wonderful!! Lots of pillows and a great comforter!! Everything was clean.
