I am usually very happy with this hotel,.However, This last visit some what disappointed me. I was put in a renovated room that was very dusty. I woke up with swollen eyes and a dry throat. The windows wouldn't open so when we took a shower the steam made the room stuffy and damp feeling. I noticed dust everywhere and the repair men started working early in the morning. The noise bothered me. The reason I say I would return is because out side of this one time. All he other times I have visited this hotel I have had pleasent experiences.

Great location in Philly- short walk to all attractions and great galleries, old town and restaurants. Staff was professional and efficient- check in and check out were seamless and quick. We arrived at hotel before noon and our room was ready. Valet parking was reasonable. Room was a nice size- very comfortable bed- club level had great soft drinks, snacks and beer/wine- gym looked brand new. would definitely stay there again.

this hotel is in walking distance of all historical sites. the staff was friendly and helpful. i especially liked their valet staff! it is pet friendly & u wouldnt know it! no doggie smell or anything like that. id give it an 8 on a scale from 1-10! city tavern is only steps away literally...great food of the times of yore.

This hotel was walkable to the Liberty bell etc, but was a disappointment. The hall carpets were dirty, the chair and lamp shades in our room were very stained, not to mention that the room was very small. In addition, the pool walls needed a cleaning badly! We had a great time in Philly, but wouldn't choose this hotel again.
