We spent five days in Boston at the end of August, 2010. We loved our stay at the Sheraton Boston Hotel, we had a great room with a fantastic view of the city, The staff were very helpful. We used the subway with no problem to and from the airport and also other trips to Harvard etc. Took the two day ticket on the hop on hop off Old Town Trolley which included a boat trip around the harbour. Went on a bus trip to Cape Cod which included a sight seeing Hyannis Harbour cruise, you can see the Kennedy homes from the boat, altho not close up. We walked the freedom trail and took the tour of Fenway Park. We loved all the history of Boston. All kinds of resturants available so we had lots of very good meals, loved Legal Seafood. Five days is not enough with so much to see and do there.

Can't beat the hotel for conventions. It's connected to the Convention Center - you never have to go outdoors and there is also a terrific mall for some local shopping - add to that a bevy of great restaurants, including a couple of chains (P.F. Chang's and Legal Seafood) - what more could you ask? Well for one think some thing a little cheaper than a $* breakfast or $* /per night parking. I know they all do it, but I'm still surprised when taxes are fully 1/3 of the hotel room rate. I would avoid the Sheraton in the future, BUT if you're going to be at the Convention Center and your company is paying for the room you can't beat the local, service and style of the Sheraton.

The Sheraton Boston Hotel was a good choice for a tourist wanting to see Boston. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was helpful; although the room was a little crowded. The furnishings and bedding were attractive and the Starbucks coffee in the room was a step up from most in-room coffee. The Prudential Center was located at the hotel and an entire shopping mall with everything in it was right there. It was a bit of a walk to the historical district, but manageable. Also, the tourist trolly picks up and drops off right in front of the hotel, and the tickets could be purchased from the front desk. We found small, locally owned restaurants nearby, and we were very happy for the 3 days we spent in town.

I am a little disappointed in our recent stay in your hotel. We were there last weekend for our daughter's graduation. The hotel itself was very nice and conveniently located for us but I have two complaints. When we were checking in we were not informed about the benefits of staying on the club level i.e. breakfast or any other benefits. As a result we went out and paid for breakfast for all of the days we were there. Also, upon check in we requested a different type of room for our two adult daughters and were graciously accommodated, however their ""standard"" room had a nicer bathroom and significantly nicer shower than ours. The check in person did mention that our daughters would have the same privileges as us since they were originally booked onto the club level as well and that is what was paid for... but no one mentioned what those privileges were (another chance to mention the breakfast.) The rooms were clean and quiet, the beds were great and I know graduation weekend is busy for everyone but I was a little surprised at the error, especially coming from a Sheraton, which I considered an upper end hotel.. thanks for your kind attention ,
