Important Hotel Information
- Between January and April 2013, guests will begin to see the reimagination of the Wyndham Orlando Resort. All operations and resort amenities will remain open during this time.
All hotel guests will be responsible for paying the property's resort fee of 6.00 USD per day (6.75 USD including taxes) at the time of check-in.

I was somewhat skeptical when I first read the hotel reviews but I am so glad I decided to book my stay here at the Wyndham. I thought it was a hidden jewel hidden right in the heart of International Drive. Our room was very clean and we had a beautiful view of the lagoon. Although, we initially requested a smoking room I'm so glad we went with a non-smoking room with a balcony that we could smoke on instead. The rooms were nicer than the smoking and each room had it's own balcony to enjoy. The staff were very friendly and accomidating. I would absolutely recommend to friends. It's not a 5 star but then again..I'm not a 5 star kinda guy so this place was perfect.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The grounds are kept very clean and is very nice, including the lobby, ice cream shop, fitness area, pool, and poolside restaurant. We enjoyed the DJ at the pool. My only issue was that the rooms are a little dated, and I thought there would be a refrigerator in the room. We would definately consider going back, even more so if the rooms were renovated.

The first night we got to the room we found a cockroach. Following by a very distressfull alarm sound. The room was very small. On the other hand the hotel was close to theme parks, very central. I went with 5 teenagers and they loved the pool.

My one concern is after we got there we were charged $6 a day for the resort fee. We did not use anything in the resort as we got up every morning and left town. There was no internet wireless connection outside the main lobby and if you wanted to connect to the internet it was $6.99 and 69 cents a minute.
