Hotel was clean and comfortable. Location was perfect for Site Seeing all the memorials and places of interest. High Speed internet available for a Co$t... Starbucks on-site... Fire & Sage restaurant was clean and inviting however, the food was expensive and sub par.

Excellent Hotel for the Money
07/05/2011Great price, great location. right on the metro. 5 blocks from the national mall and the white house. the only way they could do better is provide a free breakfast.

My 9 year old daughter and I loved the location, the room, the indoor pool, & the staff. I was pleasantly surprised. You are steps from Metro Center, and if you head over towards 10th street, you'll find your restaurants. Macy's is across the street- + some nice shops around the area should you need to pick up something you forgot from home. In general, a very nice part of town- we always felt safe. Blocks from the White House too. We liked the breakfast (typical hotel $$) too. Starbucks in on site as well. No complaints, and we would definitely stay here again. We had a fantastic time in D.C., and it was even better since we were happy with our accomodations. (I never needed the internet, so don't know about it.)
