  • NOT ORGANIZED, RESORT IS TOO BIG

    When we checked in, our plane was late & it was the middle of the night. while settling in, we noticed the beds were made, and there were new towels, but ...

    WHEN WE CHECKED IN, OUR PLANE WAS LATE & IT WAS THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. WHILE SETTLING IN, WE NOTICED THE BEDS WERE MADE, AND THERE WERE NEW TOWELS, BUT THERE WAS A POT OF COFFEE ON THE BREWER AND A LOT OF TRASH IN THE VILLA. I CALLED THE FRONT DESK AND LATER FOUND OUT AFTER SLEEPING THAT NIGHT, THAT THE SHEETS WERE NEVER CHANGED AND THERE WAS TRASH BECAUSE THE CLEANING PEOPLE THOUGHT THE LAST CUSTOMERS WERE STAYING AGAIN. IT WAS GROSS!! THEN SOME CLEANING LADY SEEMED TO BE REALLY RUDE TO US THE REST OF THE TIME THERE, SHE WAS BLAMING US FOR CHECKING INTO A DIRTY ROOM? THE FRONT DESK AND THE CLEANING PEOPLE DON'T COMMUNICATE TOO GOOD BECAUSE IT IS TOO BIG OF A RESORT.
    THEN ANOTHER DAY, I CALLED AND ASKED FOR EXTRA TOWELS AND THE CLEANING LADY STARTED YELLING AT ME ON THE PHONE THAT THEY CAN'T REFILL THE TOWELS, AND THIS WOULD BE THE LAST TIME SHE WOULD DO IT.
    THAT'S NO WAY TO TREAT YOUR GUESTS.
    THEN THE TIME SHARING DEPT KEPT CALLING, WAKING US UP EVERY MORNING TO TRY TO GET US TO GO TO THEIR PRESENTATION WITH A "FREE BREAKFAST". I KEPT TELLING THEM WE DIDN'T HAVE TIME, AND WEREN'T INTERESTED, BUT THEY WOULD CALL THE NEXT MORNING ANYWAYS.

    WE PLAN ON GOING TO FLORIDA AGAIN SOON, BUT NEVER TO THIS RESORT AGAIN.

    Terrific, spacious, clean, comfortable room. No sales pitch, polite, helpful staff. Great pools, great location in regards to the Parks, lots of activities on the grounds. Probably not the best place to stay if you dont have your own transportation due to the size of the complex, and some of the areas look like they could use sprucing up, but outside of that no problems whatsoever.

    We booked a two bedroom and I too was leary after reading the reviews. We stayed in the Lakes section and the room was excellent. Lots of space - bigger than my house! The room was very clean, we opted for no housekeeping and it worked out fine since the room was emmaculate upon arrival. The facilities are great, the pools are great, the staff was great, check in was a breeze. I have no complaints what-so-ever! We travel quite a bit and this by far was one of the best places we have ever stayed! Definetly will return!

    My villa didnt look anything like the pictures on line. It was very old, but everything (appliances) were in good working order. The picture shows very updated villas with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. My villa looked like it was decorated in 1980 with none of the bells and whistles in the pictures. We made the best of it, because the price was great and it served its purpose. Great location, close to parks and supermarkets. We did not have housekeeping, which was fine for me. I dont care for people coming in and out to make my bed and clean up my stuff, I am able to do that on my own. The villa was also a little musty smelling, I bought febreeze and a candle to freshen up and that was fine.
