This resort is extremely nice. Very clean, safe and in close proximity to our destination of Universal Studios. Our 2 bedroom villa had been recently renovated and included granite counter tops and plasma t.v.'s. The seven pools located around the resort was a highlight for our two children. I wish we could have stayed longer to really experience all this resort has to offer. For the downside...this resort is a timeshare of sorts. (We didn't realize this until we arrived.) We were heavily pressured into attending the timeshare presentation (for discounted theme park tickets.) We were assured the presentation would only last 2 hours beginning at 7:30am. We were not able to get away until after 11:00am!!! Since we were only going to be at Universal Studios for one day, this was precious time lost. My advice- pay full price for your theme park tickets or get your discounts elsewhere unless you are interested in purchasing a time share or have nothing better to do with over 3 hours of your time while on vacation. Would definitely stay again.

The villa we had was wonderful, very roomy, felt like we were home! We all had a good time. The pool was a little far so we drove to it, we were lazy, it might have been a 7 minute walk.

Facility is huge with many buildings.. May be other buildings within the same resort are better because of recently remodeled; However the one we stayed is the SPA ;and it's definetly too old ! The age of the building is obvious just by looking at the kitchen counter top, furnitures and bathrooms... Bedroom furniture's drawers are for display only! Anything we touched seems falling apart...called staff once to unclogged the toilet.. although the staff are very tentativete to our request but was dispappointed for the overall quality of the facility ! Definitely not a 4 stars resort. Would not come back!

Overall, our stay at this resort was enjoyable, but we had an incident occur to us early on which dampened our spirits somewhat. Money was stolen from our villa while our family was on a bike ride around the resort (they have bike rentals there, one of many family friendly activities) - we reported the incident to both hotel staff and the police department but felt like it was a fruitless effort. The resort staff member we dealt with was basically more concerned about a negative backlash to the resort, than they were with sympathizing with our situation. (The hotel manager never followed up with us). We stayed in a two bed-room, two bath villa - our boys pretty much lived by the pool areas. The other guests were very friendly and overall very comfortable & 'lazy-fun' atmosphere. Walmart is right down the street (your best bet if deciding to cook in your villa) as are many other retail outlets and restaurants. Disney also minutes away. Note, you will be enticed to attend a presentation to buy into vacation ownership (timeshare), which they state 'no pressure' and assure you will only take about an hour of your time. Our presentation lasted close to three hours - and they had three different representatives speak to us before they would accept our 'no - not at this time'. If you have no intention on buying a timeshare, I strongly recommend you pass on their invitation, the 'breakfast' & the $ voucher is not worth the time & aggravation. Overrall, this resort was beautiful but we have never experienced such poor customer service from a hotel. (The front desk does not answer the phone & they really should rephrase 'Hospitalily & Guest Services' to the 'Can't be bothered department'.) Would not stay again.
