best option at miami downtown
11/04/2011The location is very good. a starbucks cafe just two streets, the neighborhood great for a stroll in the evening, the staff very friendly and helpful. 110% recommended hotel!

Terrific Service and a Good Downtown Location

We stayed at the Miami Downtown Hyatt Regency and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We were in town for a convention which kept us busy plus we added a couple of sightseeing excursions to our itinerary. The breakfast buffet was convenient, well stocked, and tasty. I added the Business Plan upgrade which included the buffet, wi-fi, bottled water, and a couple of other things - all of which were used and definitely worth the value to me. The staff was super helpful. I spoke with just about everyone asking questions about sightseeing to in-hotel services. Everyone (including the Concierge, wait staff in the restaurant, cleaning services, and the guy that maintains the gym) went out of their way to be accommodating. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. We had a terrific stay and I recommend the Hyatt Brand and this property in particular.

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Miami for 3 nights for a business convention. The staff were very helpful. The room furniture was a bit outdated but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The hotel lobby was nice and there was a little area to purchase breakfast items as well as a small river walk on the back side of the hotel that were very nice. This hotel is right downtown and there are planes flying overhead on occasion which you do hear. The gym was small but it worked for me. I found the restaurant pricey and you could not get internet service without paying for it, but overall it suited my needs and I would stay here again.
