This hotel really gives the Hilton chain a BAD, BAD name. The staff was rude, arrogant, and unhelpful. I witnessed them callously reject an elderly black lady with no hint of remorse. She was told in a very loud and rude tone of voice that she had arrived at the wrong Hilton (lucky her!) and then a taxi was called, despite her complaint that she was very tired! I think she got a better deal in the end, since she didn't have to stay in this dump! There was dust and dirt on normally unseen areas, and the seen areas were only barely wiped. The entire place reminded me of a no-star dive in SC, but with 5-star prices! If Hilton has not already gotten rid of this property - they should! An utter DISGRACE!!!

My husband and I had just flown from the DR to MIA and were spending the night to take our flight to SFO the next day. We were thirsty and the mini bar key was not in the room. We were traveling with two toddlers and I had to wait for 40 min. for the little shopping store to open. The attendant had left "for the bathroom" we were told. The store closes at 11:00PM but it was closed from 8:00 until 8:40 PM. I think she was having dinner, and they should have someone else to take care of the store in the mean time.My children were thirsty too and the wait seemed way to long. One of the reasons I picked this hotel was for the shuttle. The first shuttle drive by in front of us, and the second one took almost 20 min. to come. It is hard waiting when you are with little ones.

10/09/2010Everything costs extra at this hotel including parking and internet access. make sure you take these costs into account when you compare. the room walls are thin.
