The hotel was not somewhere we would stay again. The room was supposedly standard but it was very small. The elevater was oppose of our room door. There was alot of noise and could hear the room above to the point of bathroom activity. The coffee maker didn't have a carafe. The bathroom had mold. This was one of the worst rooms we have ever been in. When we complained in the morning, nothing was done and not even an apology. We were very disgusted with all of the services.

I stayed at this Fairfield in July 2009 for 2 days. I agree that the rooms are small, but they are very nice. I didn't have any problems with noise at night. I think that we were worn out each night and could sleep through anything. The breakfast was very nice each morning. Great variety of food. Pool was great too. I have a 10 year old son who was with me and he enjoyed the pool too. Not a party like atmoshphere at all. If you can get it they have covered parking which is nice in the summer to keep your car cool. Only drawback is that it is a drive to Duval St. Driving and parking can be a pain and add up. You can always rent scooters etc. This hotel was close to grocery stores, fast food that helped too. The staff was super nice. I plan to stay again!!

If you like not getting any sleep, stay at this hotel. The walls are paper thin. The window faces where people walk by, so you always have to keep the blinds closed. The room had one dresser for all of our clothes, therefore most of them stayed in our suitcases. The room was much too small for two people. At the pool, it was always miller time (not good for the kids). Yes, it was clean, good staff, but the ""all night"" partying was a big turnoff. I would never go back again, even if it was for free.

I stayed at this hotel for two mid-week days . Overall, I felt the hotel was a good place to stay, in fact excellent if you consider the price. Key West can be pretty expensive to visit even during the off-season, but this hotel made it a little easier on my wallet. The rooms, pool, fitness center, breakfast area and bar are all clean and well maintained. The rooms are a little on the small side, but typical for Key West. The breakfast provided in the morning (included in the room price) was excellent. Eggs, waffles, fruit, bagels, muffins, juice and coffee all prepared fresh and served quickly. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful throughout the entire stay. The only complaint I have is that the bar at the pool is only open from 10 A.M. to 7:00 P.M., it would have been nice to be able to drink there a little later into the evening. The hotel is within driving/walking/biking distance from all the attractions in Key West and parking is free (big savings in Key West....usually runs about $20.00 per day at most hotels).
