The hotel is wonderful when it comes to proximity to Disneyland, but to be honest that's all they have going for them. Huge heavy doors that have to be slammed to be shut, makes for a very loud environment. We didn't get any sleep, we actually went back mid afternoon to sleep while everyone else was gone, just to get sleep. While the staff is very nice they are by no means willing to help. We arrived on Sunday and it took until Wednesday to get the internet working correctly. I would call and ask if the internet service was down and 4 times they would transfer me to an automated message explaining how to connect my laptop to the internet. I was only using an IPad. Found out on Wednesday the internet service had been down off and on since Saturday. Then tell me that during one of my four phone calls to inquire about service instead of passing me off to a robot that isn't even addressing my questions. All in all, the walk to the parks was great but I think next time I'll walk the extra 2 blocks and stay at Howard Johnson down the street!!!

I would think if you where going to book a room during a set time when the hotel knows it is going to be going thru a renovation, that the hotel would be upfront and tell you about these things in advance, not wait till you show up and find out , no pool, overpowering smell of fumes from the floor stripping etc.

YOU WOULD THINK IF YOU WHERE GOING TO BOOK SOME TIME TO GO ON VACATION, AND THE WEEK YOU CHOOSE, FELL INTO THE TIME THE HOTEL WAS GOING TO DO ITS ANNUAL MAINTENANCE, THE HOTEL WOULD OF INFORMED YOU, THIS WAS NOT THE CASE, ARRIVED TO FIND POOL DRAINED, FUMES IN CHECK IN AREA WHERE HORRIBLE FOR THOSE LIKE ME WITH BREATHING PROBLEMS, WE ONLY STAYED ONE NIGHT AND THAT WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR ME.

My family and I had a great experience at this hotel. Front desk was great about accommodating our request to be able to see the fireworks! The room was also Disney themed and my kids loved it. A bit spacious than other rooms, important since I had a crib to set up. Although the front desk said they were completely booked, I didn't hear any noise from neighboring rooms. A little peace and quite is priceless! :)

This hotel was a delight to stay in. The beds are comfortable. We had a Disney-themed room on the City side, but we could see Disneyland from the balcony. The rooms were spacious. Our requests for early check-in, feather free & extra pillows and towels were met. The room was very clean, and the staff helpful and courteous. We didn't realize breakfast wasn't complimentary, but we had enough food of our own, so that didn't matter too much to us. It is half a block to the Disney entrance light. Very convenient.
