  The only downside to this stay was the amount of time we had to wait for the airport shuttle. The directions to the pickup location were confusing and the van passed us by once. This was great for those leaving on a cruise, however, because the hotel arranges transportation to the port.

  We stayed 2 nights after our cruise and LOVED it!! It was a $22.50 taxi ride from the Port of Miami (the shuttles there wanted $10/person & there were 7 of us, so a taxi is the way to go). The hotel is a $30 taxi ride each way to the International and Dolphin Mall. The suites are wonderfully laid out and will sleep 6 comfortably. Each room (we'd booked 2) had a TV in the living/dining area and one in the bedroom. There was a coffee maker, microwave and fridge. 5 minute walk away was the Pollo Tropical Restaurant with the best chicken ever!!! There was a Burger King and a couple local restaurants on the same street and a liquor store further down the street. They serve the absolutely best breakfast I've ever been served. The breakfast was even better than the cruise ship's - that says alot!!! Each afternoon from 5:30 to 7:30pm they have a munchies & beverage hour. One night they had chips & salsa and the other was pretzels & nuts and they always had theater style popcorn freshly popped. The kids could have soda and the adults could have anything from a fully stocked bar. There were laundry facilities on each alternate floor - $1.50 each for wash & dry and soap & fabric softener were available at the gift shop for $2 each. The hotel was spotless, very welcoming and inviting. You wanted to sit in the atrium and around the pool. About every 3-5 minutes, a plane flew over the hotel, as the hotel was within spitting distance. It was very loud if you were outside but you couldn't hear it when you were inside the hotel. AWESOME!! Our only disappointment was in that housekeeping didn't clean either of our rooms. I would absolutely stay here again and would absolutely recommend it!!

  We would definitely stay again. The room was very clean and the decor great. The breakfast was delicious with many choices of food items. We ate in the Steakhouse twice and had delicious well prepared food. The manager's daily reception at 5:30PM was an added bonus. Every staff member was friendly and helpful except the woman in the gift shop who might have been having a bad day. Thanks Travel Website. This hotel is a keeper.

  I love this hotel, the central patio with the fish pond is beautiful. and the suites are great. My sons love the video games. We enjoyed the free drinks and popcorn in the afternoon. The best part is the breakfast, I have been at several hotels that offer free breakfast, but this one tops them all, with fresh food, omelets done to order, and pretty much everything you would want for breakfast. I don't always stay because sometimes I can't find a good price for it when I am traveling, but it is always the first one I search. The only thing I didn't like last time I stayed was that the room was very cold and couldn't get it to warm up.

  We had to change rooms twice. The first time we got a kind bed and I had requested queen beds. The second time, we spent the better part of the night trying to stop a leaky toilet. When we called for assistance they told us to use the towels to dry the floor and no one came to our room to solve the problem! I was with my 77 year old father struggling with this situation. Finally, I think I left my sneakers, shorts and shirt in one of the drawers in one of the rooms we stayed in. When I reported this, they said that I had to wait a while for the security people to check. I called at least twice over the next two weeks and they kept telling me that they could not check because the rooms were occupied. I never got a final response.
