I depend on online reviews, too much sometimes. I ultimately settled on this hotel because it had the fewest complaints listed in the reviews. From reading them, I expected anything from musty rooms, rude staff, bugs, to who knows what else. What I received was far different... I checked in at 11:00 AM. The sign on the wall clearly states that check in is not until 4:00 PM. That is my problem, not theirs. The front desk staff graciously let me know that they would call me should my room become available sooner, but for sure it would be ready at 4:00. I packed the family up and we explored the town of Cocoa Beach for a few hours and by magic, our room was ready at 3:30. The room was in the tower facing the ocean. It had a small verandah and very close parking under the building. It was clean, fresh smelling and everything I could ask from a hotel. I made a few inquiries to the front desk about extra towels and they were delivered within an hour. They gave out a few recommendations for dinner and those all were fine as well. In the end my stay was exactly worth what I paid. I hope this will help counter some of the ridiculous complaints that others have registered. I am a real person and not a shill for the hotel.

Even with being the room right above the pool on the 1st floor was still a great location and view. Most I ever paid for a hotel room btw usually spend 30-100 this was more than that, but worth every penny even thought it reallly wasnt much more :) . There was another hotel right infront of the suits but you could still see the ocean around it.

When we first entered the room I was about to walk right back out and find another hotel...two words.... RUN DOWN! But then my husband and kids ran to the balcony, and after taking in the view we decided to stay. The good: location, beach access near the pier, relatively clean, & free breakfast The bad: decor, a bunch of separate buildings so you have to be sure you are in an oceanfront room with a balcony, a hike to the pool and free breakfast. If you are used to higher end, go elsewhere. If you just need a clean place for a family getaway to the beach, this will work fine.

Wow, staying at the Best Western was a great time. The staff is great, better than staying with family. The breakfast is more than you would expect for free. The area is a great vacation spot. The Kennedy Space and other museums are well worth seeing. The beach and the places to eat were fantastic

The biggest problem was with the late checkout policy...check out time was 11:00am and the clecrk stated if we wanted to stay past 11:00 we would had to pay a full day rate. But he said all the hotels do this...never been charge this and been having late checkouts with almost all my stays worldwide. Kind of hard to have 4 kids in the lobby waiting for transportation to port and airport. The rooms were clean and the cleaning staff was nice. it would be nice for a change depenser close to the washers/dryers. The front clerk made my overall stay second guess the hotel for future vacations
