We stayed at this hotel recently. The room was small but the decor was nice and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The locatoin was great. We were a 5 minute walk to Foggy Bottom metro and Dupont Circle metro. We even walked to the lincoln memorial from the hotel. There are resturaunts near by and a walgreens across the street. We would definatly return to this hotel. The bathroom was big and the shower pressure was great. You don't get that in a lot of hotels.

07/25/2009Even if the room was small, it was very good choice. the hotel is close to shops, metro and bus stations. walking distance from heart of georgetown and downtown.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Renaissance M. The service was excellent, the room was very clean and quiet, and the location was great. I did not realize that this hotel was part of the Marriott chain. Upon check-in, the desk manager added my stay to my rewards card. He also provided me with a comprehensive list of nearby restaurants for me to try. The hotel is located close to a Metro station which made it real convenient to get around and explore the sites of our nation's capitol. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the hotel.

The hotel was in a great location sitting in between Foggy Bottom and Dupont Circle and only a few blocks each way to Metro stations. Everything in the hotel was new and clean. The concierge staff was always helpful to assist in directions or even finding us a wine bottle opener. The fitness center was well equipped with brand new work out equipment. Restaurants and bars were within a short walking distance, and the hotel bar was a great option to sit and relax and people watch. All in all, would definitely stay again. Thought it was a great value for a hotel in the city, especially at spring break time.
