Our visit was great! The staff, especially bellmen were extremely pleasant and helpful. We arrived before check in and they were happy to hold our bags for us so we could explore the city. The location was great - right near Times Square and the theaters. We would go back again on our next visit.

If I decided to go back to NY most probably will chose Belvedere again. starting for location and for the service made my visit to NY worth it. rooms was confortable their room service is a no complaint at all, breakfast is also healthy and have a variety for the customers choice. The only observation that I can make is the checking time. I travel across the country for 9 hours and 1 more hr. across town from airport to the hotel and arrived at 1:00 pm and checking time was at 4:00 pm. the spare time we went to have lunch close by on a walking distant. But they made an effort to get the room ready by 3:00pm.

Beautiful hotel in prime location. The hotel is beautiful. The only negative thing about the hotel is that the front desk people are not very welcoming or friendly. They seem afraid to smile. I know New Yorkers and believe me, they are usually friendly!

We didn't know what to expect, since the Belvedere seemed like a bargain for Manhattan, but the hotel was nearly perfect. The whole place was clean and well kept, all the staff was great and the location is ideal. If I had to find any complaint it would be that the elevators are small and sometimes slow. We still give the Belvedere two thumbs up and will stay there again the next time we are in NY City.

When we made reservations 3 months earlier, paid for our rooms, we'd been promised that we would have a roll away bed for our grandson in the room. When we arrived in our room, which was very small, we were told that it was impossible to accomodate a roll away. They offered another room, but with the same consequences...so, my husband slept with our grandson, and I slept with our daughter. We were very disappointed and uncomfortable. It was a very second rate hotel.
