Belvedere was Great!
09/19/2010I dont have a single complaint about this hotel... our room #40executive king#41 was very nice with a marble bathroom marble floors... the bed was the most comfortable bed ...
I dont have a single complaint about this hotel... our room #40Executive King#41 was very nice with a marble bathroom marble floors... the bed was the most comfortable bed Ive ever slept in... plus it was SO handy to have a microwave fridge in the room! #40we got dinner at Jing Chinese around the corner were able to save the leftovers for the next day!#41 ...and the LOCATION!... we were 2 blocks from the Gershwin Theatre just a couple more from Rockefeller Plaza... I wish I could go back next month!

This hotel had a great staff! Room was super clean, and comfortable. The location was perfect - steps away from the subway, short blocks to Times Square and just about all the theaters, one block from the Grayline bus tour office - and lots of restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay there again. We opted to stay on the 17th floor (top), even after reading a few reviews that complained about slow elevators. They are a bit slow, and I can see if they got busy, could require extra patience. If you feel in a hurry, make sure to request a lower floor.

My m-i-l- & I took my daughter to NYC for her 13th b-day. We all agree that the hotel met our needs. The hotel was accurately depicted in the pictures. Some rooms were more updated than others, but were clean & the beds comfortable. You can not use more than two electronic devices at one time throughout the room as it flips the breakers each time. The staff was friendly & helpful, quick to send maintenance. Yes, the elevators were a bit slow, but it wasn't terrible. We were in a quiet area that felt safe & close to all major tourist attractions. The public transportation was close & easy to catch.
