Even though my room was small (especially the bathroom -you hardly could close the door when you were in it), and the desk people were not that pleasant, I would recommend this hotel for its look and location. Beautiful hotel, the room was bright and cheerful. Nice sheets, nice attention to details, gorgeous (very small) marble bathroom). I also like the location, away from the hustle and bustle. One thing though, they totally screwed up my room service order for breakfast and made me late for my appointment. I also waited for my car quite a long time. i am going back in two weeks and booked two rooms for 6 nights. Hopefully we will get bigger rooms!

This was a great stay in Manhatten. A few interesting events 1. Only had 1 bed in room(we had reserved 2),2. tHE DOOR between the rooms closed and no one could open it,they called in a lock smith,3. the toilet would not flush, 4 the room keys would not work at all. Sounds terriable but the desk staff and all the staff would immediately take care of the problems. They all were so friendly and took good care of us Okies. Gave us free breakfast for our stay. The hotel appearance was great and the location was very good. We had a great time.

My daughter and I thought the Carlton was fantastic in every way. From the door man to housekeeping all employees were more than accommodating. The hotels service for sightseeing information was also so helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect and was centrally located to all the sightseeing locations. We would most defitnetley stay at the Carlton should we return to New York and of course would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

The hotel was a good bargain comparatively. The standard room was pretty small, but I expected as much. It was however clean and nicely decorated. It was also in a good location. Near attractions but not too noisy.

I stayed during Christmas and it was very convenient since it was close to the subway station and my room was very peaceful. I didnt hear the outside traffic at all. It was comfortable !!
