I booked this room through a website for a specific price. However, the $30 per night charge for parking is not included in the price you are quoted for a room. The parking is valet parking. This is inconvenient because if I wanted to go to my car to get something, or leave the hotel, someone had to escort me to where it was (to get something out of it) or drive it up to me for me to use it (making me feel pressured to tip the valet). When I parked with the valet, they would not allow me to take the cart full of luggage with me to the room. Instead, I had to "check" the baggage and someone brought it up to the room. This is another time when you are pressured to tip someone for services that are forced upon you. The room was nice and the view was great. Hallway activity can be heard clearly from the bed along with television sets in adjacent rooms. We did find an obvious long black hair in the bed that was not ours (wife is blonde and my hair is very short). This was off-putting to say the least for a hotel that is so upscale that I'm expected to pay $30 per night for parking and tip every person that grabs a bag or opens a door. I would recommend the hotel if you are staying in downtown Atlanta, but caution that those extra charges and inconveniences are there.

From check in to check out, my experience at the Hyatt was excellent! We were only there for one night but when it came time to check out, we did not want to go. The only issue I had is that you had to pay to use the internet per device. We ended up spending over $54 for parking and internet use for one night. Other than that, we loved it.

11/17/2011We were there for 24 hours and it was delightful. easy to get to room and balance of facilities. very relaxing and view from room was enjoyable too.
