I was thoroughly impressed with the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. Staff was friendly, professional, and competent. Rooms were nicely appointed, and restaurant, bar, coffee shop and convenience store on premises ensured I could get whatever I needed at any time. I also appreciated that this hotel is designed with environmental impacts in mind--it utilizes low-flow toilets & shower heads (still had good pressure though!), trash receptacles with dividers for recyclables, LED bulbs and lots of ambient lighting...and those were just the measures I could easily see. Loved this place and will be back!

  • Beautiful hotel, great staff

Room was modern and clean, close to elevator but little noise from the hallway. check in and out were quick, all staff members were more than welcoming.

I enjoyed my stay here, however, for a hotel that has supposedly been "remodeled" they contractors definitely cut some corners in the radius tower. The tile in the bathroom was dingy looking to be "new" and there was unfinished paint jobs around the door facings, window sills, and baseboards. I'm by no means pretentious, but the half completed work was disappointing given they hype over the redo, it also made the room appear dirty when I'm sure it was not. There was also some yellow wax on the wall that looked a lot like snot. I did not report this to the hotel as I did not have time to spend time requesting cleaning services during my stay. I did love the big wall of windows and kept my windows open a good majority of the time (not something I typically do when staying in a hotel). Also, the front desk staff was beyond helpful and friendly. Paula especially. I would suggest purchasing the park and surf room option as it includes parking for free (aka pay a little high for the room dont pay extra for parking) that was well worth the cost as it decreased the ASTRONOMICAL $32 per day normal fee. Should you have a question about room types, call the hotel directly. I attempted the 1-800 option and the nice middle eastern gentleman I spoke with had no idea what I was talking about and just read to me what I was already seeing on the screen. Be forewarned, this hotel is very "New York." Small room with a lot packed in. Expect limited counter space, small area between bed and furniture, and small bathroom. Nice set up though and again beautiful wall of windows in the room. Enjoy your stay!

From the moment we walked into this hotel, the friendlyness of the staff made us feel like family. From check in to check out the staff answered any and all questions promptly. The room's were out standing! You would never know it was under construction. But the only problem was the parking garage! That area needs much inproving. We were questioned every day about payment. We paid on arrival for our stay, and between the computer system and staff it was not a good experience.

Remember spring break in college or high school when you checked into a hotel and there was nothing but loud music, people partying in their rooms and doors slamming. OK, perhaps you don't because you were actually having fun but this hotel was having a spring break Saturday night the night I chose to stay here.
