The location of this hotel was wonderful. We traveled with our two kids, 9 and 11 at the time, and were able to walk to virtually any of the tourist attractions. There's also a Metro station very close to the hotel. The room was fine, your typical hotel room, but clean and it certainly served the purpose. The staff was nice and the concierge was very helpful with any questions we had. I would certainly recommend for families or individuals wanting to see the sights in DC.

02/03/2011A nice hotel for sightseers...on bus line; two blocks from metro station and retstaurants/shopping. courteous service in the bar-grill area. conceigerie was helpful. unique lobby area.

This hotel was fabulous! I would definitely recommend it to a friend and return on my next visit to Washington DC. The service was awesome. You really felt special. The rooms were clean and up to the star rating given. The food was wonderful! We had a awesome buffet.

Two blocks from the Capitol, this couldn't be much better located. However, the low-down on the costs of parking could have been better explained. Staff was helpful but not particularly out-going. Room was immaculate and rest was not a problem.

We stayed over the 4th of July. . .extremely hot and humid in Washington DC! When we returned to the hotel in the afternoons, staff were handing out cold drinks as we walked by. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly and helpful. We will stay there again.
