The hotel is old with furnishings outdated. Eating is a problem. Most eating places are near DuPont Circle which is quite far. Union station is the nearest fast food place to go to. Hotel breakfast was good but lacked diversity. There is very little variety for children to eat from. Room with breakfast is only for two. Room with breakfast should be priced according to number of occupants.

The hotel location was convenient for visiting the National Mall, the museums and the memorials and its proximity to the Downtown area made it easy for dining as well. The West Wing Cafe was literally next door and a fantastic place to have a quick lunch or breakfast on the way to visit the sites

The hotel was in a good location. It was close to Union Station and the Capital. Be sure to check out the travel by subway or Metro as they call. Very resonable. We took take from Ronald Reagan Airport to hotel and paid $20.00. Could have taken the subway for $5.55 for 3 people. Hotel was great, very nice and clean. The beds were comfy but would have been nice if bigger. Family of 3 and we had 2 double beds. Queen would have been nice. Staff was very professional and friendly.

Our stay was for 3 nights and we were treate very well. The staff always asked how we were and the room was ready early on the day of check in. The room was cleaned promptly and the bed was super comfortable and there were plenty of places for suitcases and clothes. The only negatives were the lack of fridge. Great stay!
