I've been at the Waldorf with my husband and two kids who are 18 and 13. As during the reservation process we inform the number of guests and the age of the youngest one, I could not imagine how small the two beds would be and none of us had a good night sleep during our four nights stay. Everything else was really good, the hotel itself is gorgeous and staff is very friendly and polite. Location is just perfect.

My wife, 2 teenage daughters and I recently spent 5 nights in New York at the Waldorf. This was an incredible experience in travel (and i do a lot of travel). Total comfort in how you felt from Check-In to Check-out. You didn't feel like you had to worry about the quality and character of the staff as everyone was top-notch. Such history and grandeur of the Main Lobby. The room was a little tight for 4, but the beds were awesome. It was a Christmas vacation we will never forget.

This is a must-stay at least once in your lifetime...and we were certainly glad we did. While our room was not the most stylish, it was certainly comfortable and historical. Located so close to the subway and dining, it was easy to get to in a hurry, and so beautiful in the snow. Our host at check in gave us remarkably professional service as well as allowing us to check in early. Bravo!

The rooms are lovely - after all, it is the Waldorf! Robes help the feeling of luxury and the amenities are representative of what you'd expect. We had a toilet that ran all the time but at least it flushed properly so we didn't bother to let them know. Very good shower pressure and we really enjoyed our stay overall.

We very much enjoyed our stay here with one exception. They are resurfacing the exterior of the building and every morning at 9am the drilling started on our side. I don't know how you find out if a hotel is being renovated before you book other than to call. Also, there was no hot water the last day of our stay...and no compensation for that. It was off a few hours in the am and NYC is cold in November! Love the history of the place and it is very convenient to Radio City and Rockefeller center...you expect it to be pricey! They did have the 2 beds we requested which I have found not be the case at many NYC hotels...though they allow you to book the reservation expecting 2 beds and then only have a king when you actually get there!
