Great location. Easy access to Rockefeller Center and Grand Central Terminal for easy use of Subway. About a mile from Time Square and Central Park. Easy access to shopping and restaurants. Pet friendly Internet access in the rooom...but never was able to connect. Used free WiFi offered in the lobby. Clean and Quiet. Was there when it was VERY hot in July, Room never got below 78 degrees.

FOR SUCH A HISTORICAL HOTEL I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED.
06/29/2012For such a historical hotel i was very disappointed not only of the service, but also the cost & quality of the food.

06/27/2012The staff was very preoccupied with "business details" and seemed to forget humans have ears and eyes. our room was not serviced by 5 in afternoon first day of stay... ...
The staff was very preoccupied with "business details" and seemed to forget humans have ears and eyes. Our room was not serviced by 5 in afternoon first day of stay...when I called to ask why they said they would send someone up...Nope not now, in for the evening until late dinner. When I asked for fresh towels in leiu of full service they issued 2 bath one hand and 2 wash clothes for 3 women.
