  Kind of 'funky'. Decor is uber cool. Having sink in the room and toilet/shower down the hall worked out fine. Everything was clean. Location is very downtown LA. Next door to Hotel Cecil. Be aware of the $* hold on your credit card upon checking in -- even though you've paid for the hotel stay! Once I asked for an additional blanket, I was very comfortable for my 2-night stay. It's fairly close to Union Station for rail travel (not walkable, but about a $* cab fare away). Easy access to public transit.
