I paid a discounted rate but regular rate is not worth it. Service was okay. There should have been doormen. Rooms were very nice. Beds were super comfy. Window shades could be set to open and close automatically. Hotel overall was impressive but way too big. Would only stay here again if going to convention center in hotel for business again.

This is a beautiful and artistic hotel. The rooms are comfortable with great technology features, floor-to-ceiling windows, and the most comfortable bed. It is stylish and functional. The pool area is quite nice with three fairly large pools and great landscaping. They were fairly quiet in the morning, but became busy in the afternoon. One of the drawbacks to this hotel is that the parking garage is quite a trek from the rooms. That makes it a bit inconvenient if you have a car.

The concierge service collected our bags and told us we could go to the front desk and check in and pointed out that unlike other hotels they "check people in as rooms become available". This was 10am, the front desk said to come back at 1:00. We did, the front desk said come back at 3pm. We got in line at 3:30 and stood in line for over 2 1/2 hours to check in (this was on a Thursday night). During check in the staff was rude and obviously frustrated. Most of the windows were closed and there were 7 standing in the corner talking. There was no point putting the "do not disturb sign" on the door, housekeeping walked in anyway. We checked out on Sunday at 10 am and only half the windows were open for check out, the others were open allowing people to check in. The front desk clerk was extremely rude when she explained that even though we used nothing out of the fridge, it was NOT for personal use and there would be a fee applied because items were rearranged (we were not informed of this at check in and had taken the drinks out of the fridge to stock our own, then returned the original inventory before leaving the room. The fridge is weighted and charges for everything moved). Internet is $25 a day, the breakfast buffet on the weekends is $72 a person. The hotel is beautiful, but it was the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in based on customer service. I will never stay here again and will not recommend for anyone else to either.
