We booked in a package & it was a "great deal"...u get what u pay for! The hotel had everything we were looking for; pool/hot tub, complimentary breakfast, complimentary shuttle to universal & was newly remodeled. We checked in w/ 2 men smoking out front, one was the driver & one was the front desk clerk, got into the room & it wreaked like mildew & the phone didn't work to notify the front desk. The man was very defensive when we asked to b moved to a different room (we could move, but would have to pay extra). Finally got another clerk to agree to a partial refund & we were OUTTA THERE!

01/03/2012The hotel was not very clean and the room was musty smelling, they moved us to another room and we had the same issue.

Hotel very close to Orange County Convention Center

We were attending a convention at the Orange County Convention Center so picked this hotel for the location. At checkin they gave us drink coupons for the busy bar area for 2 free drinks which was very nice. The hallways did have a musty smell to them and were dated. Could definitely use some updating. The rooms seemed clean until you really got in them and looked around. The floors were not cleaned properly as neither were the very old bathrooms. They were livable for the 2 nights we were there but could use some old fashioned good cleaning and updating.

Stayed at the Clarion Inn for business. Loved the location. Very accessible by foot to many places to eat and to shopping, etc. Room was fine. Had good wireless connectivity. Hot breakfast bar looked good, although there is a charge for it. Would recommend if you are needing a place along International Drive.
