We could not have been happier!

We picked this hotel because it was in a really good location to sightsee in San Francisco. We were so pleasantly surprised. It's new, nicely decorated, nice rooms, wonderful front desk people, a very helpful door man......there just isn't anything wrong with it! We have already talked about staying there again in the future.

Hotel room was small, but the bed is super comfortable. I often can not sleep in hotels, but one day from exhaustion, but I slept every night here. One thing to note is it is 6 blocks from the BART (so best to do Super Shuttle or a Taxi). But it is close to other transit. Close to Union Square. Right outside gate of Chinatown. No Aveda products like they said, which was a bummer. Staff was extremely nice and very helpful. They were familiar with the area. They printed out a list of vegan restaurants that were still open at 9:00pm. Advised me how to get to Santa Cruz to do a Whale Watching tour. No free breakfast. Nov. 2012.

Great location, and the staff was always right there at the front desk asking if I needed anything. I only had one meal there, breakfast, and it was excellent. The room wasn't huge but more than ample space for spreading out. My only gripe was a terribly slow wifi connection -- almost like dial-up at times. I'd stay there again.
