This is my 3rd stay for a reason. I get to stay at a 4 star hotel/casino for less than what I would get charge at one in downtown LV. One with beds I could sleep on and not run down from so much wear, bigger rooms, have the expensive look and be clean, have a huge floor to entertain the kids with movie theather, bowling, arcade, and have a nice looking swimming pool. It is away from downtown casinos, but that's a plus because I don't waste time stuck in traffic at the strip - I simply take the freeway and exit straight to the casino I want from there. As for the price on Fridays & Saturdays, I found they don't go up as much as 4 times than other better known places. That leaves you more money to spend on the machines instead or the other forms of entertainment.

When coming into Vegas from California the first hotel your eyes catch is the Southpoint. Its gold windows bounce the sun light off into the sky giving it an astetic appeal. The food is great, especially the prime rib. Badside, however, is the distance from the strip, comps aren't that great, no places to really dance. Overall, if you don't mind staying at one hotel it is very nice for relativly cheap

Very nice hotel/cassino. On the south side of LV and a long ways from the strip but large rooms/bathrooms, very clean, security, and pleasant staff that don't expect a tip every time you turn around. Not glamorous but very nice complex and a great value for anyone who wants a good deal. One downer is the buffet...really lousy!

It is a nice hotel. It is clean and comfortable. The hotel has several different restaurants on site and gaming facilities. I liked the fact that it is not right on the strip but offers everything the strip does.
