I knew that I had reserved a room at one of the less popular hotels, but after reading the reviews on-line I thought I had made the right decision. After checking-in and getting the room, I was shocked at how dirty the carpet was. The whole room had a foul odor and looked like a cheap motel room. The cost of the room certainly wouldn't be considered cheap. Overall, I was disappointed with this hotel and would not return if the situation arose again in the future.

08/16/2010The rooms here were absolutely filthy. the box springs were stained & had "courtyard by marriott" on them so this place must have purchased old mattresses. they were stained & not even ...

They were stained & not even covered with dust ruffles. There were stains on the curtains that looked like dried blood. Disgusting! Should have trusted web 1 star review instead of travelers reviews.

This turned out to be the perfect place for us to stay especially for the price. We only needed a room for one night to break up our long driving trip. The room was very clean, it was quiet, the front desk was helpful and they allowed our dog! We would definitely stay again.

Best price in town! Very, very clean. The entire facility has been recently remodeled and is spotless. The room was a tad small but all fixtures, furniture and appliances were new and very well maintained. It was quiet and conveniently located in Ashland. Free Wi-Fi internet! Good coffee to boot! I highly recommend this Econo Lodge.
