Only stayed the night, so I can't say too much about the hotel, but overall it was a really good experience. Just a couple small things that affected my stay (one of which was my fault, I didn't bring my own pillow). Really my only issue was the internet. Not free. I only needed it to send one e-mail and look up directions, so I went without for the night. Other than that, excellent service, great views, and an out of the way but not too far location!

This hotel was not located in the heart of downtown, but the hotel offered a shuttle service to downtown at $6 per person for all day, which was nice. We also stayed at a hotel in downtown, but the parking fee can cost from $14 ~ $22 per day. The rooftop bar was closed during winter, but the hotel has a nice bar and a restaurant.

If you are looking for a hotel in Charleston that offers good service, large comfortable rooms, restaurants and bars on sight and is located convienent to historic downtown (free shuttle) as well as Mount Pleasant, Isles of Palm, Sullivan Island and Folly beach by car this is the one. Easy access to major highways in the area . Not great for walking but with the free shuttle service you get all the historic downtown you will want.

Exorbitant price on Saffire restaurant items --no wonder there were so few diners! Quality of food very good, but many better restaurants in the area offer less expensive dinners that include salad. Better choices on E. Bay St., Market St. area. and not even complimentary coffee!

Hotel was beautiful and our room was exactly as expected. We stayed here for a bachelorette party and the staff took it upon themselves to make sure we had a driver waiting every night! I look forward to returning to this hotel again.
