great location great price average staff
03/09/2013Cheap nightly rate right in the best part of boston. staff was mediocre. said theyd make a dinner res, never did. alkost missed dinner, restaurants were packed.

Wonderful hotel! We upgraded to one of the rooms with a view and were glad we paid the additional money as our room was great, especially for a downtown location. We had no complaints at all with the hotel. it was exactly where we wanted to stay, close to great places to eat, shop and enjoy a beer. The only downside (it was not a problem for us, but guests should be aware) is the hotel is very close to a lot of nightlife which adds to the noise of the city until the bars close. We stayed on the 7th floor so it was not an issue for us.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful and centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Quincy Market was just steps away as well as a local street that has 100 Italian Restaurants and Bakery's. All site seeing tours/Trolleys were right outside our door. My brother and his wife had a problem with the air conditioning in the middle of the first night. They were very apologetic and said they would look at it and if it remained a problem they would upgrade them to a better room. By the time we got back from site seeing that afternoon, it was fixed. They were courteous and helpful. The restaurant/bar in the hotel was terrific and reasonably priced. I weould definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to everyone!

Great hotel in a great location. Clean, feels a bit glamorous especially when you know the history of the hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. They are the inventors of the Boston Cream Pie! Would definitely stay here again!
